What to expect during your consultation

The initial consult is a great tool for those who have already committed to online training, as well as those who are still on the fence and want to see if online training is the right fit for them.

At Superior Performance Training Systems, we want to get to know who you are on a personal level--not just a fitness level. Before your first week of workouts is even formulated, we’ll sit down with you (virtually) to figure out how we can serve you best. Here’s what to expect in your initial client consult:

WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOU

~Your basic contact information

~Your medical history

~Your fitness goals--this can be as broad or as specific as you want.

~Equipment access--will you be working out at home or at a gym? If so, which one? The more specific you can be about what equipment you do/do not have available, the better.

~Your exercise history--are you a seasoned athlete, brand new to working out, or somewhere in between? Again, the more specific the better.

~Any questions you have--whether it’s about working out, nutrition, recovery, or something else. Ask away!

*We’ll have you fill out a couple forms--an informed consent and a health/medical questionnaire

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO KNOW

~How we run things here--the way we formulate your workouts, get them to you, and progress them

~How we’ll measure your progress

~How to (potentially) tailor your nutrition to match your goals*

*we do NOT write specific meal plans

~The importance of communication! We have a blog that addresses some commonly asked questions, and a video library that demonstrates the exercises we prescribe, but if this is not enough, DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK! This will benefit both you and us.
